Rescuing and Rehoming Dogs in Need
Friends Indeed Dog Rescue Charity is a dedicated organization committed to making a positive impact on the welfare of dogs. It is a registered chaity in the UK (1191077)
Founded in 2018, their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home dogs who have been neglected, mistreated, or abandoned. They provide compassionate care to dogs, helping them to heal both physically and emotionally and ensuring they have a second chance at life.
Our Dog Charity Story
We believe that Friends in Need are FRIENDS INDEED.
Originally from Romania, we came to England 15 years ago. As we are extremely passionate about animals, we managed to save the lives of more than 100 dogs and cats, so far. Some of them have found homes in Romania, in France, Germany, Holland and Belgium - with the help of many friends/other charities who share our values. In the UK, we started by rehoming a few doggies in 2017, through different reputable organisations, but -as we got more and more involved in this extremely difficult activity (!)- it made sense to start our own Rescue.
We believe that this world can and will be a better place for us all, not just for humans, but for animals. It doesn’t matter where the poor soul is from – when a dog comes from England, Ireland or Romania, whether is he/she young or old, healthy or poorly makes no difference ; we will help if we can. We believe that Friends in Need are FRIENDS INDEED.
Why Choose Us
Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.

I cannot praise this rescue enough they are absolutely brilliant. My little rescue came from Romania and I was kept updated from start to finish. Transport were brilliant posting updates and pictures. Thank you to all concerned you are truly amazing and do fantastic work rescuing babies and getting them new loving homes.

What a fabulous organisation they are, totally professional step by step guidance, and are totally committed to the dogs they rescue . We have tried others in the past, and I must say they could learn a lot from Friends Indeed Dog Rescue Centre.
